This versatile DC-DC boost-buck power supply/voltage converter module converts any input voltage from 5V to 32V to any output voltage from 1.5V to 35V. Based on the XLSEMI XL6009 chip, it provides a single-module solution regardless of the input and output voltages. It is especially useful for 12V applications, regardless of whether the input voltage is 5V, 9V, 12V or 32V, the output can be regulated to 12V.


The 5V to 32V DC input voltage is connected to the solder pads labeled IN+ and IN-. The first section of the module steps up (boosts) the input to an internal voltage >35V. The second section of the module then steps down (bucks) this voltage to the output voltage level set by the onboard potentiometer. The output voltage is connected to the load via the OUT+ and OUT- solder pads.
